My first foray into music photography was way back in the late 90s – gulp over 25 years ago now – when I was working as a music journalist in London. Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive. I was a staff writer for Dotmusic / Music Week and also freelanced for NME and Muzik (both RIP). The 90s were a heady time to be in the music world and at that time London felt like it was the center of the world. It was a wild time of hedonism and thankfully free from social media and phones with cameras documenting every moment. As I was one of the early writers who specialized in writing for the then nascent internet I also took photos at shows with my digital camera. Here are some special memories: The Corrs Glastonbury 1999 This stands out for me as one of my special and early moments in rock photography and cemented my love of being in the action in the photo pit a few feet away from the artist. The Corrs were a big band in the 90s in the UK – an Irish group consisting of two sisters […]
There’s no denying it – the quality of the photo is perhaps the biggest single factor in looking for e-commerce sales conversions. Humans are visual creatures and a good photo can communicate so much more than the written word. Hence if you are serious about achieving good sales results from your website, then quality photos are paramount. Whatever you are selling – from t shirts to dining tables – potential customers will be pulled in and make that decision to purchase by the photo. Here at Martin Worster photography – working out of Orange County, Southern California – we recognize the importance of the image in the psychology of the sales process in e commerce. Having a photo that is sharp, bright and perfectly exposed will really help make sure your products are pushed in front of the right eye balls. As long term sellers ourselves of high end antiques and interiors products we come with the added bonus of knowing both sides of the process. Perhaps the biggest insight it has given us is the importance of achieving a good rate of photos in one day – quite simply the more products you have photographed the more likely you […]
Based out of Orange County in Southern California I specialise in all types of product photography. Coming out of the pandemic, the push to e-commerce has really gained immense pace, so if you are looking to sell something via the internet the importance of good product photography is paramount. I am based in Huntington Beach and can service all surrounding areas including Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa and Long Beach. I have been shooting photography professionally for over twenty years. My first experiences were in my native town of London UK where I was a music journalist and hence specialised in music photography working for the likes of the NME, Muzik, dotmusic and Music Week. As a committed music nut I am in my element in the photo pit and like to think my photography will take you right into the action. My experience soon developed and I began to specialise more in product photography, largely in the high end interiors, antiques and art world. In this sector the importance of high quality photos is perhaps the most important factor in converting a sale. If a client cannot see or touch the item in person they are relying […]
